Alisu is project of Jessica Campos de la Paz, Chile , experimental musician and graphic designer. Created with Rolancho the Manziping project in 2000. Currently is owner in Modismo Netlabel and also collaborates with Pueblo Nuevo, Impar (Chile) and Tropic Netlabel (Germany) . Her compositions are warm and ambient, always with contagious rhythms, subtle melodies and her beautiful processed voice plus robotic sounds.
Alisú is the name of a musical project set up by the producer and graphic designer, Jessica Campos. She was born in Viña del Mar, Chile.
In the year 2000, she began her musical journey by founding a project called Manziping. She worked on it along with Rodrigo Rivera. These artists have performed in many and diverse stages along Chile, such as Mutek, Earthdance and Drum and bass festival, etc.
A couple of years later, she edited her first solo record named "Fotogramas" at Impar Netlabel (2007).
She has also worked with different labels, namely Tropic (Germany), Pueblo Nuevo, Epasonidos y Modismo Netlabel (Chile).
Her musical pieces evoke organic environments and slip into catchy rhythms that go through deep bass sounds. All of these elements are combined with her synthesized voice to take us on her "Nave Afrodita", her latest song released by Modismo Netlabel. Her album, Alisú, slides through deep watery sounds that will lead us to a selected choice of captivating sonorous tones.
